Jamin Goggin - jamin@metamorpha.com

Jamin Goggin is a teacher and practitioner of spiritual formation. His main areas of focus are spiritual theology, historical spirituality and Christian community. He has done Masters work in Spiritual Formation and Soul Care as well as New Testament at Talbot School of Theology. Jamin lives in southern California with his wife Kristin and their two children. He has pastored in churches in southern California for the past four years. He is also a trained spiritual director. Jamin passionately seeks to implement spiritual formation in the life of the church.

Kyle Strobel - kyle@metamorpha.com

Kyle Strobel is a speaker, writer, and a practitioner of spiritual formation and community transformation. His main focus is on discipleship, spiritual formation, and creating a community of disciples who do the same. He has done masters work in Philosophy of Religion as well as New Testament. After doing further masters work in Spiritual Formation, Kyle has started his Ph.D in theology at the University of Aberdeen in Scotland in order to help integrate the often divorced spheres of theology and spirituality.

Kyle has focused his ministry on developing and equipping people to live a Jesus way of life, which is also the subtitle to his book Metamorpha: Jesus as a way of life(Baker, April 2007). Board Members

Steve Porter

Steve Porter is an assistant professor of theology and philosophy at Talbot School of Theology and Rosemead School of Psychology, Biola University. Steve received his PhD in Philosophy at USC under Dallas Willard. His areas of interest include: integrative theology of sanctification, integration of psychology and theology, and philosophical theology. He lives with his wife Alicia and son Luke in Long Beach, California.

Larry Warner

Larry Warner is executive director of “b”, which is a ministry that provides spiritual direction, contemplative retreats, and holistic leadership development for pastors, ministry leaders, and church staffs. He is a spiritual director, adjunct professor and directs the training and ongoing development of spiritual directors throughout Southern California. Larry has a varied vocational background having spent 12 years as a youth pastor in the Los Angeles area, 6 years as a Los Angeles County Deputy Sheriff and another 10 years as a senior pastor in San Diego. He is also the co-author of Imaginative Prayer in Youth Ministry (Zondervan,2007). His desire is to give others the tools and opportunities to experience a growing and deepening relationship with God and thus become the unique pastor, leader, person God has created them to be.

Larry has a B.A. in Biblical Studies, Masters of Theology, has completed a program in Spiritual Formation and Direction at Azusa Pacific University’s Graduate School, and has completed a two-year program in Spiritual Direction at the University of San Diego.

Julie Barrios - Director of Guidance - julie@metamorpha.com

Julie Barrios is a spiritual director and supervisor of spiritual directors at the Institute for Spiritual Formation at Talbot School of Theology. She completed her MA in Spiritual Formation and Soul Care at Talbot School of Theology in 2005. Soon after she moved to the Mississippi Gulf Coast following hurricane Katrina. This experience was transforming and sparked many of her current interests-the power of grief sharing in spiritual formation and the interconnectedness of mind, body, and spirit. Julie is currently in the Ignatian spiritual directors program at the Loyola Institute in Orange where she is specializing in Ignatian prayer. She also teaches children's art classes. She currently lives in Orange County, California.

Brian Owen - Director of Voices - brian@metamorpha.com

Brian has served with Campus Crusade for Christ for 17 years. Brian currently serves as a human resource associate for the Pacific Southwest Region, focusing on New staff Development and Training as well as serving as the region's Theological Development Coordinator.

Brian is finishing an MA in Spiritual Formation and Soul Care at Talbot School of Theology and is currently practicing spiritual direction with seminary students, missionaries, and church leaders.

Administration

Kim Levey

Kim Levey has a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in marketing from California State University, Fullerton. She is an accounting associate for Ocean Media, Inc. She is also the adminstrator for Share A Smile, Inc, which is a non-profit organization that provides orthodontics to underpriveledged children. Kim lives in southern california.

John owns Western Ascent Inc - a web development company - and works full-time as the CEO and lead software engineer.
